Founders of Act-Local
Stefan Göllner
… studied landscape planning in Berlin and communication Design in Düsseldorf and worked at Academy of Media Arts Cologne form 2007-2009 in EU-founded research project “Citizen Media” as researcher, interaction designer and project manager. Since late 2009 he joined Design Research Lab of Berlin University of the Arts for working on his PhD thesis about impacts of aging on interactive design. His aim is to actively contribute to design theory and methodology by applying participatory design and research-through-design projects.
Martin Hesselmeier
In 2002 he received a Diploma in Communication Design from the Fachhochschule Mannheim, academy of arts and design Mannheim and in 2007 a Diploma in Audio-Visual Media at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne as a postgraduate student and has since then been working for the EU-founded research project “Citizen Media” as a designer. He is also working for various design studios in Germany.
